PAMPANGA HOMECOMING

Robby visited his hometown in Pampanga last June 20, 2008.

Accompanied by his sister, Jonah, a couple of friends, and the GMA staff, Robby got to go back to his alma mater, and reunite with his school teachers.

For Pinoy Idol's Top 12 Gala Performance, the theme was The Performance of Your Life. Robby chose to sing Brian McKnight's "One Last Cry".

Still slightly sick with fever and a cough, Robby still consistently delivered a flawless performance, which earned him the judges' approval and praise.

We are posting this from Center Stage of The Mall of Asia.

It is confirmed that voting starts as soon as the show starts tonight (Saturday, 6:30-6:45), and ends at 12 noon tomorrow (Sunday).

Please watch and vote for Robby tonight, right after Pinoy Records.

REMINDERS FOR SATURDAY

Hi everyone!

For those of you coming on Saturday to watch the Top 12's Gala Performance at The Center Stage of The Mall of Asia, please be reminded of the following:

1) Be there at 9:30 AM sharp to ensure good seating. Assembly place is at Gerry's Grill. A Team Robby representative will be there to meet you.

2) Wear the official Team Robby color brown/earth tones for us to identify each other.

3) Bring flashlights, torches or mini-handheld lamps for Robby's performance.

4) Bring all your home made banners and signs to show some love for Robby.

5) Eat a heavy breakfast, as the show will end long after lunch.

6) Say a prayer for Robby for his speedy recovery and for another amazing performance.

ROBBY AT THE TOP 12 PRESSCON

It was a fun and very entertaining presscon held at The Music Museum a few hours ago.

The presscon started around 9PM, and ended around 11:30PM. We apologize to the people who went to Starbucks for the assembly. We were stuck in the presscon, and it ended pretty late. We'll have a more systematic assembly next time, and device a better communucation strat. Again, we apologize if anybody did wait for the assembly.

Members of the press, family and friends were all there to support their respective Idol finalists, wearing their official finalist color of course.

It was hosted by Raymond Gutierrez, Rhiann Ramos and Kaylle.

Opening number was "Please Don't Stop The Music", followed by group songs by Robby, Kid and Daryl , Gretchen, Jayanne and Jeni, Mae, Sue Ellen and Penelope, and Ram, Warren and Toffer.

Robby's solo number was "For You" by Kenny Lattimore. Robby is still sick with fever, but it hardly showed from his performance.

After the mini concert, the press was allowed to ask each of the finalist their own queries.

It was nice to see all the supporters gathered under one roof, donning their respective colors and other props such as tarpaulines, banners and even balloons.

TOP 12 PRESSCON

The Pinoy Idol Top 12 will have a presscon and mini concert tomorrow, June 18, 2008, 6PM, at The Music Museum in Greenhills Arcade, beside the Theater Mall.

If you want to hopefully see and meet Robby, and the rest of Team Robby after the show, please do come.

Team Robby will assemble at Starbucks Theater Mall around 8:oo PM. Hope to see you guys there. We will be distributing postcards for everyone to give-away.

ROBBY ENTERS THE TOP 14, WALTON IS OUT

It was a very emotional eliminations night last June 8, as Robby is out of the bottom group, and is put to safety and enters the Top 14, as two of the better performers, Walton Zerrudo and Meryl David were eliminated.

Ogie comments that he is not happy with the results, as the Philippines got it wrong yet again.

Theme for next week's performances is Father's Day.
